Consistency measurements after MC-pumps are specifically demanding. With in-line consistency sensor Cerlic CTXIL HP, measurement is performed right in the pipe line. The installation is done with an isolating ball valve that allows the sensor to be taken out under process pressure without interruption of the running. No moving parts means practically no maintenance. Typical measurement range is 8 – 12% consistency at a process pressure of 10 bars.
